Scott Leonard Adkin, 69 died peacefully on April 21 in London Victoria Hospital surrounded by his loved ones.

Scott is survived by his children Marlise Adkin of New Hamburg, Michael Adkin of Clinton and Mariah Adkin of Cambridge, two grandchildren Grayson and Cecile. sisters Carol Reed of Ashfield, Helen Masterson of Chatham, and Marjorie Wilson of Niagara, sister-in-law Barbara Wade, brothers-in-law John Masterson, Harry Pring and Ian Wilson, nieces and nephews Paul and David Reed, Colleen, Christina and Christopher Adkin, Catherine Masterson, John and Scott Masterson, Amy Turrin, Jessica Martin, Holly Wilson and Caitlin Harel.

Predeceased by his brother Don, sister Jean Pring and brother-in-law Leonard Reed.

Scott was born in Chatham, On Sept 1, 1953 to Elvin and Myra (Cowan) Adkin. His family moved to the Goderich area in 1958 where he attended school and later became a skilled welder. He worked at Progressive Turf in Seaforth for 25 years and retired in 2020.

Scott loved to work with his hands. He had an incredible artistic eye and could turn something that was broken into a treasure. He was known as the fix it guy around the neighborhood, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to a friend in need.

To celebrate Scott's life, a memorial Gathering will take place in early May, Date and location to be announced.
