TALBOT: Ruth Helena
It is with profound sadness that her children announce the peaceful passing, in her home, of their Mother, Ruth Helena Talbot (nee Harris) of Goderich, on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, in her 99th year.
Wife of the late George Dewar (Bud) Talbot who predeceased her in 1975. Left to mourn the loss of their precious Mother are John Talbot (Faye) of Goderich, Rick Talbot (Lorie) of Clinton, Brian Talbot (Cathy) of Ailsa Craig, Brenda McLean (Mark) of Goderich and Mary Lynn Ferrara (Cesare) of Newmarket. Most adored Gramma of 17 grandchildren - Lori, Cindy, Kevin, Tammy, Shawn, Sherri, Brittany, Bud, Matt, Martha, Nicole, Tim, Sonya, Amber, P.J., Bjorn and Liesl. Plus 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her son Gary Dewar Talbot (1970), companion D'Arcy Rathwell (2007), Siblings, Donald Harris and Elizabeth (Betty) Feagan.
Friends will be received at Falconer Funeral Homes - Bluewater Chapel, 201 Suncoast Drive, East, Goderich on Friday, March 3rd from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 4th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Stephen Farris and Rev. Lisa Dolson officiating. Private spring interment, Bayfield Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Knox Presbytery Church, Bayfield, where Ruth was a 78 year member, would be greatly appreciated.
