Peacefully at his home, on Sunday May 15, 2022 Mr. Robert James “Bob” Smith of Goderich Twp., in his 80th year. Remembered by best friend and mother of his children Nancy Smith of Clinton. Loving father of Tammy Smith, Tracy Smith both of Clinton, and Terry & Donna Smith of Goderich Twp. Cherished papa of Thomas, Terri-Lynn, Stephen & Kendall, Dustin, Jessie, Shania, Owen & Madison, Martina, and Olivia. Great papa of Atticus, Elvis, Olive, Leia, Phoenix, Kolt, and William. Predeceased by his parents John & Marion Smith, and by 5 siblings. Survived by 4 siblings, and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at Clinton United Church, 105 Ontario St., Clinton, on Thursday May 19, 2022 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment at Baird’s Cemetery, Stanley Twp., A time of fellowship to share stories and memories will follow the interment back at the Clinton United Church.
