Passed away peacefully at the Southampton Care Centre on August 8th, 2022 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of 44 years of the late Doris Crich (Stevens) 2001. Dear father of Sandra Welch (Jon) of Guelph, Patricia McMeekin (Montgomery) of Port Elgin and Sharon Craig (Peter) of Bayfield. Also loved by grandchildren, Karissa Clark (Ian), Kenton McMeekin (Cheryl), Julie Craig, Cailin McMeekin (George), Daniel Welch, Jeff Craig and Sarah Welch. Special great grampa of Ariya, Ashton and Alyssia. Dear brother of Ted Crich, Gail Fraiser and David Crich (Barbara). Dear brother in-law of Margaret Stevens. Predeceased by his sister Betty Haines, sisters in-laws Leona McDonald, Virginia Crich, Marg Rogerson and brothers in-law Ken McDonald, Robert Stevens, Ken Rogerson and Doug Fraiser. Also predeceased by grandson Aaron McMeekin, his second wife, Betty Barfoot-Crich (2014) and companion, June Goodale (2017). Private family service to take place.
