Murray James Forbes
May 24, 1934 – June 13, 2022
Murray passed away on June 13, 2022, at the age of 88, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honour his legacy. His wife, Marlene (nee Jervis) of 67 years, five daughters: Katherine Archibald (Tom), Connie VanLoo (John) Brenda Forbes (Brock Fraser), Sylvia Whalen (Mike), Barb Forbes (Bert Middegaal). Pre-deceased by his infant son, Blaine Murray Forbes, sister Joyce Taylor and brother, Don Forbes. Survived by his sister, Mary Lynn Iacobellis. He was delighted with each of his 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Murray was proud to farm in Goderich Township for his entire life: milking cows, beef cattle and cash cropping before retiring at the age of 82. Murray and Marlene have moved to Clinton to enjoy their retirement community. His favourite ways to fill his spare time were with family, as well as being a volunteer driver for One Care, enjoying the Clinton races, playing cards, and curling. He was a role model for humility, integrity, generosity, and hard work.

Saturday June 18, 2022, from 1:00 – 4pm at the Clinton United Church -Auditorium, 105 Ontario Street Clinton,
Reflections will be held at 2:30
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed to the Clinton Public Hospital, Clinton United Church, or the charity of your choice.
