Obituary for Mike Morden

MORDEN: MIKE “MOOSE”

Suddenly on Friday, March 31, 2023, our lives were changed forever when Mike was taken from us tragically way too soon at the age of 41. There are never enough words to describe what a wonderful, caring man that Mike was. Every single day Mike lived life to the fullest, being a big kid and making people around him laugh no matter what. Family for Mike was, to say the least, the most important thing. His children were his world, teaching them everything he knew. Always outside either on the four wheeler, camping, fishing, or in the garage, spending time and enjoying every minute with them. Mike was anything but a generic individual, always making those nearby laugh with his sharp wit and personality. His love for his family was evident in everything he did, it was unconditional and extended to all. Mike was not only an amazing husband, father, son, brother and friend, he was also a man who extended his help to the community whenever he could.
Mike is immensely loved and remembered by his wife Erin, children Shelby, Maverick, and Verona, father Bob, grandmother Bernice and his in laws Paul and Cheryl. All his brother and sister in laws, many aunts, uncles, and cousins fondly remember Mike with love also. Predeceased by his mother, Carol and his father in-law, Murray.
As Mike would have wished, cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 140 Clinton, 95 Kirk St., Clinton on Saturday April 15, 2023 from 2 – 5 p.m. to remember Mike with many stories and to share laughter and love as he would have, please come casual and comfy .
If desired, memorial donations in Mike’s memory are to a trust fund to benefit his loving children (Please makes cheques payable to Erin Morden in Trust) or to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 140 Clinton.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Falconer Funeral Homes – Clinton. Messages of Condolence for Mike’s family are welcome at www.falconerfuneralhomes.com
