Obituary of Kimberly Hunking
A courageous fight was not enough. Surrounded by love, Kimberly Jean (Rooney) Hunking passed away on Saturday May 4, 2013. Cancer, however could not break her spirit. Kim is survived by her husband Robert, and daughters Sydney, Sara, & Shayna. Her parents Ralph & Jean Rooney, and mother in law Pat Hunking. Also by her brother and sisters in law, Shane & Laura Rooney, Vaughn Hunking, Donna Walsh, and Joan & Gord Henderson. Also survived by nieces and nephews, Cole, Sam, Charlie & Erin Rooney, Brad Walsh, Sandi & Henry Bos, Mike Walsh, Adam, Alanna & Laura Henderson, and by her greats Brooke, Bailey, & Abby Bos. Many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins also share the sorrow. Her love of people touched so many and these friends will forever be part of her life and theirs. All were considered family. Predeceased by an infant brother Christopher, grandparents Ida & Beverly Rooney, and Doris & Ross Mainland. Another angel joins them in heaven. Friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Homes 153 High St., Clinton, on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Kim's life will be held at the Blyth Community Centre, Gypsy Lane, Blyth, Ontario, on Friday May 10, 2013 at 11 a.m. Terry Fletcher of Londesborough United Church will officiate. Interment Hope Chapel Cemetery, Hullett Twp. For those who wish memorial donations to an education fund for Kim's daughters (cheques made payable to Robert Hunking in Trust), Canadian Cancer Society, Londesborough United Church, or the charity of one's choice would be greatly appreciated.
