Peacefully at Huronlea Home for the Aged, Brussels, on Tuesday August 16, 2022 Mr. Jeene Amsing of Brussels and formerly of Clinton in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Jacoba Amsing, and the late Hennie Amsing. Loving father of Andre & Roselyn Amsing of France, the late Jolande Amsing, Steve Amsing of Clinton & Song Amsing of China, Jim & Thelma Amsing of Cranbrook B.C., Coby & Irvin Amoraal of Mt Stewart PEI, Bert & Veronica Amsing of Argentina, Elizabeth & Rick Nanninga of Ottawa, Ontario, and Tom & Ricki Amsing of Port Loring, Ontario. Also loved and missed by 34 grandchildren and their families. Dear brother of Elisabeth & George Heimstra of Whitby, and family in The Netherlands. As a businessman Jeene owned and operated the Dutch Store in Clinton for over 25 years. A funeral service will be held at the Clinton Christian Reformed Church, 243 Princess St. E., Clinton on Saturday August 20, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. Private family interment at Maitland Cemetery, Goderich.
