It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful man, James "Jim" George Frederick Nott of Clinton, Ont. passed away Monday June 6, 2022 just shy of his 85th birthday. Beloved partner of Jean Hewer. Proud father of Stacy Plant (Dave), Marlene Bennewies (Ben), and Dale Nott (Shiloh). Missed by step daughter Michelle Gerrits (Herman) and step son Sean Hewer (Cathy). Fondly remembered by all his grandchildren and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his parents James and Nellie Nott, sister Gloria Clark and infant son Gary. Jim was well known in his day as a Whiskey Jack band member and for his love of music. His passion for woodworking kept him busy creating and mastering new projects that he shared with his family. Jim loved hockey and was a number one fan of the Clinton Radars. Nothing could stop him from attending almost every game and claiming his very own seat for home games. In keeping with Jim’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no celebration of life. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to Royal Canadian Legion Br. #140 Clinton.
