With deep sadness, the family of James (Jim) Nelson Lobb announces his peaceful passing on Sunday, December 12, 2021 after a long and well-lived life. Jim has gone to join his beloved wife (Verna) and son Tom, leaving behind 3 children and their families; Len (Marie), Eleanor (Paul) and Ernie (Helen). Also mourning his departure are his 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren who were always the centre of Jim’s heart. Jim will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, and friends on the SS# 4 community. Predeceased by his 7 brothers and sisters and their spouses. Jim lived his 95 years on the farm that he was born and raised on. He lived where he wanted to be. For those who wish to honour the Lobb family, the visitation will be held on Friday, December 17 from 3 to 7 pm at the Falconer Funeral Home, Clinton Chapel. Preregistration is required by contacting www.falconerfuneralhomes.com, or phone 519-482-9521. A private family funeral service will be held on Saturday December 18 with interment to follow. A celebration of life for Jim will be held at a later date when it is deemed safe. Memorial donations to the cancer society, Crohn’s and Colitis or Londesborough United Church would be greatly appreciated.
