Suddenly at Clinton Public Hospital, on Friday August 13, 2021 Mr. George Ives of Blyth in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Ella (Nethery) Ives. Loving father of Sharon & Laurie Cox, Judy Ives, Linda Ives & Paul Barker, Tim & Patty Ives, Andrew Ives & Carla Messenger. Cherished grandfather of Travis, Jesse & Vanessa, Luke & Bree, Siobhan & Jon-Michael, Sinead, Amy, Alma, Kaleb & Hannah, and Zachary. Great grandfather of Clara, Noah, Caitlin, and Ben. Also missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Guy & Olive (Fox) Ives, 4 sisters and 1 brother. At George’s request cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at Blyth Union Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to Trinity Anglican Church – Blyth would be appreciated.
