LAVIS: GWENDOLYN DEVONA “GWEN”

Peacefully at her daughters residence in Blyth on Sunday December 26, 2021 Mrs. Gwendolyn Devona “Gwen” Lavis of Clinton in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late John Lavis (2009). Loving mother and mother in law of Bryan & Carol Lavis, Paul & Joy Lavis, Gordon & Anne Lavis, Allan Lavis, and Anne Elliott & Les Cook of Blyth. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, John Lavis & Becky Seres, Sherri & Jeff Eby, Darrell Lavis & Jean Cook, McKenna Lavis & Stephen Mallison, Layne Lavis, Leeanne & Scott Middleton, Kathy Lavis & Jamie Hickling, Bart Lavis, Nathania Lavis & Patrick Bass, Russell Lavis, Michaela Lavis, Heather Elliott & Jeff Levine,Jeff& Kristy Elliott, and also loved by her great grandchildren Samantha Eby (Aaron), Justin Eby, Ashley Lavis (Ryan Bushfield), Meghan Lavis (Reece Potter), Jonny Lavis, Autumn Lavis, Avery Lavis, Bailee Lavis, Brodie & Jackson Seres, Noah Middleton, Ashlyn Edwards, Teaguen Edwards, Olive Lavis, Lyric Lavis, Lennon Bass, Kaydin Bass, Ally Elliott, Ainsley Elliott and Ruby Levine. And forever in the hearts of her great great grandchildren,Jace & Kesler Potter. Predeceased by her parents William & Kate Routledge. Friends will be received at the Clinton United Church, 105 Ontario Street, Clinton, on Wednesday December 29, 2021 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Those wishing to attend the visitation must register with the funeral home via the website RSVP option or by calling. Masks and social distancing are mandatory inside the church.
