ERNEST "WOODY" WOODS
“Always there with a joke or a song”.
The Woods family sadly announce the peaceful passing of Ernest Arthur Woods (Woody), after a lengthy illness, endured with dignity and love for his family, age 91
on February 5, 2022 at Huronview Home for the Aged.
Woody is survived by his wife Marion (Stuart) of 71 years, son Jim (Sylvia), son Bill (Paula), and daughter Patricia (Frank). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10
great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Louise.
Woody will be remembered as a loving father, husband, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He loved music, sailing, painting and creating imaginative things.
He was always there to help family and friends with projects.
Woody retired from GM and IBEW local 120, after 35 years.
A special thank you to the compassionate staff at Huronview Home for the Aged, and to his dear friends, Bruce and Nora. Their care and support during his final days
will be forever remembered.
