It is with great sadness the family of Douglas Allan Smith announces his passing. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. Doug was a wonderful husband, dad, grandpa, brother, and friend to many. He left this world on Tuesday June 21, 2022at age 71.
He leaves behind his Beloved wife Donna Lynn Smith, loving father of Bruce (Doris) Smith, and Tricia (Stefanie Folkes) Smith. Dear Grandfather of Wesley (Gloria Ritchie), Brody,Lucas, Emily & Landon Smith and Jaxson and Abigayle Folkes Smith. Brother of Bob (June) Smith, Ruth (Vern predeceased) Egerdee, Marjorie (Bill predeceased) Yost, Leslie (Cathy) Smith. Brother in law to Gary Hackbert and Jean (Nelson predeceased) and predeceased by sister in law Florence. Doug also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Doug was also predeceased by his parents Myrtle and Arthur Smith. Doug was a hardworker and was a dedicated family member and had lots of long time friends and co-workers. Doug was actively involved in the community and loved to travel and spend time on his boat. As per Doug’s wishes cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Homes – 153 High Street, Clinton, on Monday June 27, 2022 from 11 a.m. until time of the Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. A time of fellowship will immediately follow the service at the Clinton Legion, 95 Kirk Street, Clinton.
