Plunkett: Donald "Dooley"

Passed away peacefully at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital in Goderich on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

Donald Milton Plunkett of Auburn in his 94th year. Don will be deeply missed by his long time friend Joan Pinter of Ingersoll. Dear father and father-in-law of Andy and Carolynne Thompson of London, Betty and Barry Powley of Chilliwack, British Columbia, Jim and Sheila Thompson of Seaforth, Stephen and Cindy Plunkett, David and Julie Plunkett all of Blyth and Darryl and Susan Plunkett of Auburn. Lovingly remembered by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also survived by a sister-in-law Jewell Plunkett. Predeceased by his parents, Wilfred and Elizabeth Plunkett, brothers Andy and Gordon Plunkett, a son William Thompson and his grandson Kenny Plunkett.

At Donald's request, cremation has taken place. Spring interment of ashes will take place at Balls Cemetery, Londesborough. A public Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #109, 56 Kingston Street, Goderich on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
