Peacefully at Huron Residential Hospice, on Wednesday November 10, 2021. Mr. Donald James Gower of Clinton, in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Joan (Rathwell) Gower. Loving father of Angela Merner, Ellen (Chris) Johnson, and Colleen (Ian) Siertsema. Loved by his 5 grandchildren, Curtis Davies (Jessica Wheeler), Tanner (Brittany) Merner, Brett Johnson (Shae Sumner), Taryn Siertsema (Michael DeGanis) and Clay Siertsema (Laynee Partridge) Survived by his brother John (Ruth) Gower, and sisters in law Sue Gower, Lois Johnson, Beth (Paul) Rathwell-Kelly. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother Rose Gower, his parents in law Tom & Willa Rathwell, his siblings and siblings in law Shirley (Don) Jolley, Bill (Mary Ellen) Gower, Delores (Bill) Souch, David Gower, and Don Johnson. There will be a private family funeral on Saturday November 13, 2021, with Rev. Cathy Larmond officiating. Interment Clinton Cemetery.
