Obituary for Deb Hart

Debra Darlene Hart
October 1, 1957 – July 19, 2022

On July 19th, at Huron Hospice Bender House, Deb’s earthly journey came to an end peacefully in her 65th year, following a short battle with cancer.

She leaves behind her three daughters Darlene (David) McCowan, Angela Bailey (Chris Kurth), and Carla Nikitin (Sam Jackson); grandchildren Sonja, Kalli, Patrick, and Jack; great-grandchildren Noah and Kaiden; siblings Heather Hart, John (Brenda) Hart, Bob (Jackie) Hart, Ken Hart and Tanya Hart; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Reginald “Jack” Hart (1998) and Marlene (Kirton) Hart (2002), and her fur baby Lacey.

Debra Darlene Hart was born October 1, 1957 in Kitimat, British Columbia, the first born child of Jack & Marlene Hart. Soon after her birth, they returned to Ontario and she was raised on Matilda Street in Clinton, Ontario with her five siblings. She then raised her own family in the same part of town.

Deb worked at the PUC and later at the Municipality of Central Huron, with coworkers who were like a second family to her. She loved baking, knitting and reading. She was an active member in her community with various organizations throughout her lifetime.

Deb’s family would like to send special thanks to Dr. Uniac, physicians and staff at both Clinton Public Hospital, and Stratford General Hospital, and to the “earth angels” at Huron Hospice Bender House. Your care and support through this journey have been invaluable.

In lieu of flowers, Deb has requested that you please consider donations to the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation, or Huron Hospice Bender House.
A private family interment will take place at Clinton Cemetery. A celebration of Deb’s life will be held at the Huron Fish and Game Club, 278 Alma Street, Clinton on Wednesday July 27, 2022 from 3 – 6 p.m.
