Obituary for Colleen Poster
It is with heavy hearts, amidst wonderful memories, that we have to say goodbye for now to our ‘wild child’; mother, sister, daughter, and friend Colleen. Born on March 9, 1963 in Geraldton, ON, she was the daughter of Lena and the late Ted Poster.
All who knew Colleen could count on having a good time full of laughter and probably a couple Carling to pair. Colleen worked most of her life at the Manitouwadge post office, always chatting with anyone who would stop and give her 5 minutes or maybe 30. Forever the life of the party she will be missed dearly by her family and many friends.
Colleen is survived by her only child Wynter Fluet, Sisters, Karen; Kimberly (Nelson), her mother Lena, her partner Chris Townes and many other extended family members. She was predeceased by her husband of 18 years, Mario Fluet, and her father Ted Poster.
Per Colleen’s wishes there will be no service held. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to either the local humane society or The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
