Peacefully at Seaforth Community Hospital on Tuesday September 28, 2021 Mrs. Barbara Agnes Hoy of Seaforth in her 73rd year. Loving wife of Jim Hoy for 54 years. Dearly loved mother of Brenda Knapp of Vanastra, Bill Hoy & Barb Hall of Goderich, and Jaime Hoy of Kippen. Adored grandmother of Brandy Gagnier, Cordell Knapp, Austin Knapp, Roshell Knapp, and Brooklyn Thomson. Loved daughter of Barbara Pollock of Huronview Clinton, and the late Gordon Pollock. Cherished sister of Bill & Sandy Pollock of Goderich, Betty & Terry Maize of Innerkip, Brenda & Jacques Martel of Goderich, Bonita & Phil Quinn of Hanover, and sister in law of Lloyd & Carol Hoy of Dashwood, and Ted Crich of Clinton. Also deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, and her special best friend Mary Bell of Blyth. Barbara worked at Huronview for 41 years where she made lots of friends that became family. Predeceased by her brother Bob Pollock, infant sister Wanda Pollock, father and mother in law Gordon & Hazel Hoy, and sister in law Virginia Crich. At Barb’s request cremation has taken place. A time to celebrate Barb’s life will be held at The Knight of Columbus Hall, 390 Parson’s Court, Goderich, on Saturday October 23, 2021 from 1 -5 p.m. Due to Covid protocols, all those attending must show proof of vaccination, and wear a mask indoors. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
