Peacefully at Alexandra Marine & General Hospital, Goderich, on Thursday April 14, 2022. Mr. Arnold Taylor of Goderich in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Jean (Scott) Taylor. Loving father of Ron (Denise Bannerman) Taylor, Don (Diana) Taylor, and Nancy (Ben) Fallico. Cherished grandfather of Sarah (Rob Woodcock) Taylor, Talia, and Sophia Fallico. Dear brother of the late Morley (the late Lois) Taylor, Leola (Charlie) Proctor, Elaine (William) Worsell, and Irene (the late Doug) Cantelon, and step-brother Charles Aberhart. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Victor and Jean Taylor, stepmother Mabel (Aberhart) Taylor. Many will remember Arnold as a farmer in Stanley Township, working for Car Quest in Goderich for 20 years, and from his business Taylor’s Market in Clinton which he and Jean operated from 1991-2001. As per Arnold’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at the Brussels Cemetery. A celebration of Arnold’s life will be held at the Goderich Legion, 56 Kingston St., Goderich, on Saturday July 9, 2022 from 2-5 p.m. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Heart & Stoke Foundation, or Lakeshore United Church – Goderich would be appreciated.
